While BC.Game Esports fell short of a maiden trophy with new Australian recruit Tyson "asap" Paterson at DracuLAN Season 7 last night, there's plenty to like about the team's form as the squad gears up for the PGL Singapore Major.
BCG fell to JiJieHao 2-0 (13-5, 16-14) in the lower-bracket semifinal of the 22-team Bucharest LAN on Thursday, but took notable scalps on their way through the event's playoffs including wins over the likes of Nexus, BBL, and FaZe Clan.

"I feel like I'm improving, like, 20 percent each game," asap said following the win over Nexus, in which he posted a monstrous 2.40 rating on Ancient β the fifth-highest-rated performance by an Australian in an overseas LAN.
"I think like every game I play I'm getting more comfortable with people. These LAN games do so much more for me than online practice β being next to my teammates and being able to see them helps so much more."
He finished the series against Nexus with a 1.64 rating and 97 ADR, and would go on to play a vital role for the squad in the lower-bracket quarterfinal against FaZe, posting 27 kills as BCG sent the international squad packing 19-16 on Nuke.
It was easily asap's best event since joining the BCG crew last month. Asap posted a 1.06 HLTV rating β equal to that of his BCG debut at ROG JOURNEY Autumn β but his impact was felt further across the 14 maps played.
We are out of Draculan Season 7.

There's still room to grow for asap, and with several events before BCG embark on their Singapore Major campaign, he'll get more reps in with Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev and the squad before the big show kicks off in November.
BCG are primed for the top seed in Asia's VRS rankings at this stage; if they hold position, they'll take Asia's sole Stage 2 slot in Singapore.
Sashi bows out of DracuLAN in group stage as team crumbles

Sashi Esports' slim hopes of qualifying for the Singapore Major have disintegrated following the squad's elimination at DracuLAN.
Tynan "TjP" Purtell's men impressed in their 13-9 win over MOUZ NXT, but that's as far as the Aussie-Danish mix-squad would get, exiting with a 13-8 loss to Iberian Soul and a 2-0 (19-17, 13-7) defeat to minnows HYPERSPIRIT.
Neither TjP nor Jordan "Hatz" Bajic could get going in the four maps played, with Anton "Anlelele" Huynh and Frederik "acoR" Gyldstrand doing the heavy lifting in the event.
The loss and subsequent elimination from Singapore Major contention has seen the squad implode, with DFRAG reporting the Aussie pair of TjP and Hatz are homebound ahead of the DFRAG Invitational next week.

TjP is set to line up for Rooster, while Hatz confirmed he's on the lookout for a new team and a stand-in spot for a squad in Brisbane next week.
