TYLOO has defeated their Chinese counterparts Lynn Vision to complete a Stage 1 reverse sweep and ensure Asia has a representative in the next round of the IEM Cologne Major.
The two Chinese squads have a storied history and a near 50-50 split of map wins since the cores first battled, but TYLOO made it look easy, capitalising on a pressured Lynn Vision in the 2-0 (13-5, 13-4) victory.
Lynn Vision opted for Ancient as their pick and the series opener, but in what could only be described as final-day jitters, Niu "westmelon" Zhe's men looked like a shadow of a squad that sat at 2-1 after two days.

TYLOO took the first gun round after the lost pistol and conversion, and in three of the following four rounds, Lynn Vision ran out of time in which to plant as they looked utterly confused.
Yi "JamYoung" Yang (1.72, 20-8) turned up the heat on the CT side, and Lynn Vision could do nothing but despair as TYLOO leapt to an 8-4 lead, then won five of the six T rounds needed to wipe out LVG on their map pick 13-5.
Inferno was more of the same; LVG took the pistol but lost to the Tec-9 forcebuy, starting a death knell CT side in which they struggled to put together the economy for a full buy.
Three TYLOO players racked up double-digit kills in the 9-3 T-side half, then landed their first pistol round of the series to open the lead to nine rounds. To their credit, Lynn Vision did complete a small run and threatened a comeback, but an anti-eco in round 20 saw their campaign come to a close. Wang "Mercury" Jingxiang's men ultimately never looked back, sending Lynn Vision packing 13-7.
TYLOO now looks to better their efforts at their last major attendance in Budapest in 2025 where they managed a 1-3 record in Stage 2. They're likely to open their Cologne Stage 2 account against paiN, Monte, or 9z — all kicking off June 6.
