The form team of the competition. Undefeated domestically, Oceania's top squad is targeting a flawless home LAN season and qualification for the Singapore Major. FlyQuest are heavy favourites for the Logitech G Pro Series crown — the only ones that can stop them are themselves.
NEXVOID has been on the grind in 2026. Forming in February, the Mongolian squad has attended over two-dozen tournaments and qualifiers this year — and the pieces are falling into place at just the right time. FlyQuest got the better of them at ACL ‘26, but you can be assured they’re eager to prove that match was a one-off as they too seek a spot in Singapore.
Formerly THUNDER dOWNUNDER, the IEM Cologne attendees look a little different from last time we saw them following the loss of three players. But don't let that fool you; left with experience, firepower, and spirit in spades — plus help from a more-than-serviceable damyo — Off Chops has enough in the tank to go all the way.
The Chooks are back. Their chances were all but dashed with chelleos’ departure, but a turn of events has seen him return home in time for the Logitech G Pro Series. He’s single-handedly carried unlikely Rooster squads to deep playoff runs in the past, but don’t worry — chelleos has heaps of backup this week. Skip over Rooster at your own peril.
A chink in Ground Zero’s armor appeared last weekend with a shock 2-0 loss to Abyssal. They haven’t had long to lick their wounds, and the defeat will be fresh in their mind as they gear up for this week, but the reigning DFRAG Open Series champions and back-to-back finalists have proven that they can hang with the big dogs on a good day.
The little Kraken that could. No one was prepared for this new-look Abyssal to click so quickly. A dash of zune’s consistency here, a hint of Forleks’ brilliance there, vinhy and dangeR to stir the pot, and a touch of blood magic — they’re a long shot here, but you wouldn't want to find yourself in deep waters against Abyssal.
Rostermania hasn’t really ended for MF, but like Abyssal, they’re already beginning to show promise on LAN. They’ll have a tough road ahead of them in the Logitech G Pro Series, but the same thing was said three months ago and they finished top four. Where there’s a will, there’s a way.

FlyQuest
Declan “Vexite” Portelli enters his eighth year of competitive Counter-Strike and third year with FlyQuest, and upon his return home, he’s been fully unleashed. Vexite is one of the region’s leaders across several major stats in 2026, recording a 1.21 rating over 100 maps played this year. A comfortable Vexite is a scary prospect — and he’s no more comfortable than on LAN in Brisbane.

Off Chops
Pieces may chop and change around him, but one thing is assured: Sean “Gratisfaction” Kaiwai can always be relied upon to step up. The Kiwi AWPer was the highest-rated player in his OCE LAN return a few months back, and since then, has blitzed every opponent he’s met on the server. Off ChopsNews: THUNDER dOWNUNDER core rebrands as Off Chops; adds damyo for Brisbane LANs (DFRAG article) has a great shot at causing a huge upset at Logitech G Pro Series this week, and if they do, you can be sure Gratisfaction will be front and centre.

Rooster
Michael “chelleos” Hawkins’ autumn plans to be in Europe were spoiled, so now the Rooster frontman returns home and will lead his team from the front. With a 1.26 rating over the year, his greatest quality has been developing a system that works no matter who joins him in the squad. Chelleos is out to prove himself worthy of consideration as one of OCE’s greats, and he can do just that at Logitech G Pro Series.
NEXVOID
NEXVOID’s been on the grind in Mongolia, and while it’s been a topsy-turvy season from NEXVOID, 23-year-old Temuulen “MiQ” Byambadalai is one to keep an eye on if they go deep in Brisbane. MiQ’s most recent performances leave a lot to be desired, but if he can recapture his mid-season form — where he was constantly topping scoreboards with the rifle — then the Mongolian squad has a chance of snatching a home LAN from the Aussies.

Abyssal
Abyssal X-factor Ozzy “blood” Rose is one of Australia’s most exciting up-and-comers. The 21-year-old sniper made his LAN debut just a few months back, already putting together a few greatest hits moments. AWP flicks for days and a penchant for impossible round wins, blood with the Big Green in his hands is a walking highlight reel.
