Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás and MOUZ’s first four months of the year can be summed up in three words: second to Vitality.
There was a noteworthy result in a PGL Cluj-Napoca victory against a weaker pool of opposition, but MOUZ’s two most recent tournament results are second-places to Vitality.
However, there is progress in those results; a clean sweep from Vitality at ESL Pro League Season 21 was followed by a much better 2-3 result at BLAST Open Lisbon 2025.
Naturally, Vitality have become a bit of a Goliath for MOUZ—and finding the solution, torzsi thinks, is fairly simple.
“When we play versus each other, we maybe tend to make more mistakes than them, and they are the best players in the world [so] they capitalise on them, you know?” torzsi said to DFRAG.

MOUZ have made two major changes this year to make themselves the title contender they aspire to be. The first was a bombshell move; dropping Kamil “siuhy” Szkaradek as in-game leader and giving calling duties to Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin.
The second saw ex-Vitality player Lotan “Spinx” Giladi join the fold, and while it didn’t bring with it the shock value of siuhy’s sudden departure, the impact Spinx has had is astounding. With the moves come expectations which torzsi is matter-of-fact about.
“Expectations, obviously, [is] to lift trophies.” But as much as MOUZ wants to topple Vitality, it all means nothing if they don’t do it when it counts: at the Austin Major.
“One of our big goals is obviously the Major… and until then, our priority is to just get better. We don't really care if we're gonna lose. I mean, of course, we care if we lose one more final to Vitality or whatever will be the case.
“[But] we know the Major, the big one, that counts the most… but yeah, we just want to get better than Vitality.”
