FlyQuest has elected to bench in-game leader Christopher “dexter” Nong after over a year at the helm in a shock move yesterday. We’re unsure whether the string of poor performances was the main push for this move, but form has certainly been a factor as the OCE outfit has struggled to leave a mark as of late.
The infamous 0-3 at PGL Cluj-Napoca is where the wheels looked like they had fallen off, where “The Boys” lost to a effectively dead team in SAW. However, there were promising results in ESL Pro League and also BLAST Bounty where the Australian team managed to break their Brazilian hoodoo against MIBR and paiN respectively.
We’re announcing a change to our CS2 roster.

After evaluating our start to the 2025 season, we’ve decided to move @dextersjourney to the bench as we take the team in a new direction. pic.twitter.com/85924o0c1p
FlyQuest has promoted Joshua “INS” Potter to be the team’s captain for the foreseeable future. INS has had previous stints at IGL after dexter left to MOUZ in 2021. INS has only become more experienced since then and is currently working with coach Erdenetsogt "erkaSt" Gantulga on building a system moving forward.
To replace dexter, FlyQuest have swooped in on ex-TALON star rifler Corey “nettik” Browne, who found himself without a home after the org pulled the plug on March 7. Nettik was essentially the vanguard of his team's limited success and was always consistently at the top of the server charts.
He was quite impactful when ex-TALON went to take on the European tier two scene. His overall HLTV rating is 1.54 with strong output in firepower, utility and opening.
Excited to join @FlyQuestCS and the boys, hope we can achieve some great things together https://t.co/5MXcC2JHAz

Nettik is very excited about his opportunity with FlyQuest and is looking to achieve some great things with them. I reckon a trophy and maybe a tournament MVP might be in mind for nettik!
We at DFRAG have discussed this move and we believe with a few role shiftsas a result of this roster change may improve FlyQuest and maximise the firepower from their new recruit in nettik.
Time will tell though—time they have, given their next event is in over a month at IEM Melbourne. They'll be under extreme pressure to perform in front of the home crowd, so here's hoping The Boys will be prepping hard!
