KZG has bolstered their roster with foggers, kras, and TRIPLUS (coach) after their fifth place finish in ESL Challenger Season 48. KZG were eliminated by Housebets in their lower bracket campaign with a quick 2-0.
With Zuko and dpr leaving after the playoffs finished, KZG were now left with their core of Estate, Hassie and Samuuks. Their coach, con, has decided to leave the roster as well.
KZG was looking at a partial rebuild for all of their important roles such as the in-game leader, the AWPer, and coach.
Looking at the players who were in relegated or relegated teams, it was a hard question on who could replace an AWPer like dpr or a rifler like Zuko.
Counter-Strike Team Update:

We’re excited to share some updates about our Counter-Strike roster heading into 2025!
As some of you may recall, dpr recently stepped away to focus on other commitments and has since joined Rooster. Earlier this year, we also said goodbye to Zuko,… pic.twitter.com/zZYUTieC1w
As Vantage had entered their core roster back into ESEA Open, it left mainly Arcade, ex-DXA and Mantra Flow who they could look to. It would be a hard ask to get dangeR or any player in top three of ESL Challenger League.
Estate, Hassie, and Samuuks decided on picking up the package deal from Arcade with foggers, kras, and TRIPLUS being added to the roster. Foggers and kras will be added as players and TRIPLUS will be the new coach.
It is likely that Estate will retain his role as the IGL with Hassie returning to his former role on the AWP.
The roster change isn’t ideal as this doesn’t exactly fill the hole that dpr left behind as the AWPer. Hassie is a downgrade compared to dpr; KZG were incredibly lucky to have dpr as an sniper in the first place. It was fairly obvious that dpr would move to a better team like Rooster.
Kras is a straight replacement for Zuko with a longer time horizon and potentially a higher skill ceiling. Foggers is a strong anchor player which KZG had been lacking. TRIPLUS was an excellent support player and is the head of content in Refrag. Foggers had mentioned to me previously that TRIPLUS has a great tactical and analytical mind in CS2.
Foggers is definitely very excited about the move that he took the CEO of John Industries out to dinner. Foggers is making massive moves in the industry.
