Dreamhack Day 1 Recap

We came, we saw, we did stuff.

‘Twas a huge Day 1 (and Night 1) of Dreamhack Melbourne, with plenty of action happening and the Dfrag crew right in the midst of it! If you’re looking for dedicated CS match recaps, our good friends at Snowball Esports have rolling score coverage and day summaries ready for you to peruse!

We’ve also been busy conducting interviews with players from different teams—these will be uploaded onto our YouTube channel over the next few weeks, so make sure to subscribe and check them out!

Outside of CS action, we were able to roam around the venue, and it was fantastic being able to see so many fans out for Dreamhack for different activities, from Cozy Corner, Speedrunning, BYOC, Artist Alley, and of course, the highlight for the day, the Opening Ceremony followed by the popular podcast trio, Trash Taste (hint hint: some of this footage will be up on our YouTube channel after the event, so if you missed out, we’ve got something for you!)

We’ll be back for Day 2—looking to rock and roll with more CS2 action, and with a Hololive Concert later this evening!
