Oceanic Counter-Strike returns to LAN on March 12 with the highly-anticipated DFRAG Season 1 Wildcard LAN. Season 1 stretches back to last October's first Open Series; six months later, we have our eight challengers who will descend upon the esports capital of Australia and battle in the region's first offline event for 2026.

Here's everything you need to know about the DFRAG Wildcard LAN: Teams attending, format, prize pool, and where you can watch it all live!

Eight teams will head to the DFRAG Studio in Brisbane this March to play for the lion's share of the $20,000 AUD prize pool, as well as a massive amount of Valve Regional Standings (VRS) points — vital for our OCE reps if they want to qualify for the biggest event on the calendar, the IEM Cologne 2026 Major.

Our eight teams will be split into two groups where they'll play through a double-elimination bracket. For the top two, progression to the playoffs, where they'll meet their peers from the other group and play a final double-elimination bracket.

All matches at DFRAG Season 1 Wildcard LAN will be best-of-three.

OCE's best-of-the-best are all in attendance. SemperFi, OCE's top squad in 2025, return from a valuable European bootcamp and remain favourites to take out the DFRAG Wildcard LAN.

That isn't to say they won't be pressured in Brisbane this March. THUNDER dOWNUNDER, boasting experience of their own via ex-FlyQuest members aliStair, dexter, and Liazz, have been tearing up in SemperFi's absence.

Ground Zero — to date the only team who has beaten THUNDER dOWNUNDER in a series — makes their LAN return, while Open Series finalists and perennial challengers Mindfreak and Rooster will also be in attendance.

The remaining teams were invited via February's VRS rankings. Arcade, Skele, and Time Waves make up the team list for this edition of the DFRAG Wildcard LAN.
