Oceanic esports organisation Arcade will make a return to Counter-Strike at the DFRAG Season 1 Wildcard LAN, with the org acquiring the Underground ESC squad ahead of their Brisbane appearance this week.
Nathan "Mechanical" Scott remains the squad's captain, with Ryley "Jynx" Linde, Aron "N1ghtraid" Dang, Michael "Kras" Krasnoff, and Jae "74LOR" Webb reprising their roles from Underground. Leroy "OrangeZ" Burns rounds out the squad as coach.
"The team and I want to take the next step and become one of the consistently top teams in the AU scene," Mechanical said in an Arcade press release.
We're back.

"Arcade are funding our growth both in and out of the server, allowing us to push ourselves to the benchmark we have set as a team. Joining Arcade has been a refreshing experience so far. The organisation is really accommodating to our needs and are very hands on with their approach."
This is the third iteration of Arcade in Counter-Strike, who we've seen previously hit the server both in CS:GO and CS2. Arcade CEO Jason Zoller said it was Arcade's mission to provide the region's upcoming talent with the tools and facilities it needs to grow into a true contender for OCE CS.
"We’re committed to investing in talent and providing real pathways for our players to grow in esports, and I’m confident that our team will achieve great things," Zoller said.
"We’re extremely excited to announce Arcade’s return to Counter-Strike. We’ve been eager to return to the game and continue developing talent in Oceania. I look forward to seeing them compete."
The Underground core has had a rollercoaster of a 2026 season thus far. They have handedly beaten mix-teams and have pushed top squads like Ground Zero and Mindfreak to three maps on several occasions, including at CCT and ECL S51 Cup 1, but just haven't cracked that mark yet.
"We have shown glimpses of our strengths but need to find some consistency," Mechanical said. "Qualifying for all the upcoming events is a must, and taking some scalps along the way."
The Arcade core has LAN experience in the form of a top-four finish at ANZC Locals 2025 last November. They'll rep their new org for the first time in the DFRAG Studio on March 12 when they take on the DFRAG Wildcard LAN.
The Arcade squad is now:
- Nathan "Mechanical" Scott (in-game leader)
- Ryley "Jynx" Linde
- Jae "74LOR" Webb
- Michael "Kras" Krasnoff
- Aron "N1ghtraid" Dang
- Leroy "OrangeZ" Burns (coach)
