We’re excited to announce ANZC LOCALS AUTUMN 2026, returning as a Tier 2 Counter-Strike 2 LAN hosted at DFRAG Studios in Brisbane, QLD, Australia, and officially operating under Valve’s VRS framework.

In line with Valve’s Tier 2 ruleset, this event will run with no direct invites, with all teams qualifying through an online Open Qualifier before advancing to the LAN finals.

Dates:

  • Registration goes live: Feb 21st, 2026 via FACEIT
  • Open Qualifier: March 9–10, 2026 (Online)
  • LAN Event: March 16–17, 2026

Location: DFRAG Studios, Brisbane QLD, Australia
Region: Oceania (sub-region of Asia for VRS purposes)
Tier: 2 (Open Qualifier → LAN Finals)
Visa Region: Australia
VRS Filter: Oceania (Asia subdivision)
Roster Eligibility: Teams must comply with VRS roster residency, continuity, and integrity requirements


Registration

Open Qualifier Registration Opens: February 21, 2026

Registration for the Open Qualifier will be conducted online via FACEIT.
Any registration fee, payment method, and refund policy will be clearly disclosed at the time of registration.

Qualification Method:

  • Fully open online Open Qualifier
  • No Direct VRS Invites
  • No Wildcard Invites
  • Hosted on FACEIT
  • Operated in compliance with Valve Tournament Operation Requirements

The Open Qualifier schedule and final details will be published in a formal update prior to competition.


Prize Pool – $12,500 AUD

Format

Open Qualifier (Online – March 9–10)

  • Open entry
  • All 8 LAN slots awarded via qualification
  • Seeding determined using the applicable VRS publication

LAN Event – DFRAG Studios

Group Stage – March 16

  • Two GSL groups of 4 teams
  • Opening matches Best-of-1 (BO1)
  • All following matches Best-of-3 (BO3)
  • Top two teams from each group advance

Finals – March 17

  • 4-team double-elimination bracket
  • Opening matches Best-of-1 (BO1)
  • All following matches Best-of-3 (BO3)

VRS Information

  • Tournament Tier: Tier 2
  • VRS List Used: Oceania (Asia subdivision)
  • Direct Invites: None
  • Wildcard Invites: None

Seeding:
All seeding for both the Open Qualifier and LAN stages will be based on the published VRS standings applicable at the time of competition.


Roster Continuity

A forfeit will be issued if a team fails to field at least three of the originally qualified roster players for the entirety of a match, in accordance with Valve Tournament Operation Requirements.


Integrity & Compliance

  • Integrity, eligibility, and conduct rules are defined in the official ruleset
  • Disqualifications for cheating, match-fixing, or integrity breaches will be enforced where verified
  • All rulings are objective, transparent, and applied equally to all participants
