ANZC LAN returns back to DFRAG

We’re excited to announce that ANZC LAN will return for its final LAN event of the 2025 calendar year; hosted at DFRAG Studios in Brisbane, QLD, Australia and will officially feature a VRS attachment.

In accordance with Valve’s Tier 2 VRS ruleset, this event will operate as an Open Registration, first-come, first-served LAN.


Event Details

  • Dates: Saturday 29 – Sunday 30 November 2025
  • Location: DFRAG Studios, Brisbane QLD Australia
  • Region: Oceania (sub-region of Asia for VRS purposes)
  • Tier: 2 (Open LAN Qualifier – No Direct Invites)
  • Visa Region: Australia
  • VRS Filter: Oceania (sub-region of Asia VRS list)Rosters must include a majority of players residing in Oceania (Australia, New Zealand, or Pacific territories)

Registration

Registration will be conducted via a Google Form that automatically records and publishes submission timestamps to a public, view-only Google Sheet for transparency in accordance with VRS § 4.4.

  • Opens: November 7
  • Closes: November 14
  • Qualified Teams Announced: November 15
  • Format: Open / First-in, Best-Dressed (VRS Compliant)
  • Process: Registration link will be posted 7 days before opening as required under VRS rules
  • Entry Fee: $250 AUD per team ($50 per player)
  • Substitutes & Coaches: Permitted as per VRS guidelines

Prize Pool – $4,000 AUD

🥉 3rd – $500


Format

All matches will be played on LAN at DFRAG Studios, Brisbane, QLD.

Group Stage:

  • Two GSL (double-elimination) groups of 4 teams
  • Opening matches – Best of 1
  • All subsequent matches – Best of 3
  • Top two teams from each group advance to Playoffs

Playoffs:

  • Double-elimination bracket
  • Opening matches – Best of 1
  • All following matches – Best of 3

  • Integrity & Disqualification Criteria: Teams may be disqualified for verified cheating, match-fixing, or integrity violations as recognized by Valve or major tournament bodies. All decisions will be based on publicly verifiable evidence and applied equally to all participants (VRS § 5.4).
  • Equal Treatment: All participating teams will receive identical treatment in facilities, scheduling, and support (VRS § 5.2).
  • Coverage: HLTV listing pending confirmation.
